Insurance FAQs
What is a deductible?
A deductible is the amount you're responsible for paying before insurance coverage kicks in. For example, with a $500 deductible, you would pay the first $500 of any damage claim.
Can I use my own car insurance?
Some personal auto insurance policies extend coverage to rental cars. Check with your insurance provider before your rental. You may also have coverage through your credit card.
What's not covered by insurance?
Damage caused by violating rental terms (off-road driving, driving under influence, etc.), interior damage from smoking, and loss of personal items are typically not covered.
